There are a number of things that you can do to help.
1. Subscribe to this site to keep yourself updated. We will be posting articles, statements, actions, events and developments.
2. Help spread the word by forwarding content on this site on social media. There are social media share links under every post. There are also posters and leaflets that you can print out for distribution in your workplace, organization, and community.
3. Get your organization, union local, church/mosque/temple, association, club, etc to issue a statement in support of Katherine. You can view the type of statements already issued by visiting the statement section of this site. It can be as simple as “we condemn the unjust termination of Katherine Grzejszczak and call for her immediate reinstatement.” We would be happy to assist you in drafting something to take to your organization. Send the statement to us <solidaritywithkatherine@gmail.com> and we will post it on the site. We also ask that you send the statement to York Region management and politicians. See #4 below.
4. Write York Region management and politicians and let them know that you condemn the unjust termination of Katherine. Here is an example of a letter written recently. We <solidaritywithkatherine@gmail.com> would be happy to assist you in drafting something. Letters do not have to just come from organizations. Letters from individuals are effective. Don’t forget to CC or BCC us <solidaritywithkatherine@gmail.com>
